Literacy Night at Quartz Hill Elementary School

Literacy Night at Quartz Hill Elementary School

event

I got invited to an elementary school’s Literacy Night! (Thank you so much to my friend Zoey and to her mom who works there for inviting me!) The school asked me to answer kid’s questions about anything, like how to write a book, how I got inspired to write, what my favorite books are, and more. I also got the amazing opportunity to be on stage and speak to everyone!

Watch the speech here.

So many people stopped by my booth to purchase a book. This was my first time selling my book at a fair, and I felt very happy whenever someone stopped by and asked about my book.

Someone even said, “Wait. You’re the author? That’s an incredible accomplishment!”

Another person came to me in my booth and asked if I’m interested in going to other schools, she’s probably from the Gilbert Public School District and I said, yes! 🙂

I just want to say thanks to everyone who supported me and bought my book at the book fair! You all made my day.
